The New Empress® Slide Product Line

For durability, precision and compactness, EATON HYDRAULICS | Hydro-Line Products offers a full-line of Electro pneumatic slides and lift systems. EATON HYDRAULICS | Hydro-Line Products, an international manufacturer of cylinders and actuation products, acquired the new product line to better serve the automotive, packaging and custom machinery industries.

The Empress slides are available in two, four and multi-positions. They have payloads up to 5,000 lbs. and travel up to 36 inches. The product line consists of four different slide series.

The EBS/EBSM Series is a self-contained, internally powered two-position slide system. The patented design includes a twin power cylinder integrated into the saddle of the slide. The EBS Series is available in lightweight aluminum or steel with payloads up to 3,500 lbs., 50 to 350 psi and travel up to 18". Another series, which is available in two positions, is the S Series slides. The S Series Slides consist of twin cylinders, internally powered with linear motion devices. Each position has an adjustable hardened stop for location repeatability and is fitted with a self-adjusting shock absorber. Positioning is achieved with the use of a standard 4-way valve.

The EIS Series Slides are twin cylinders; internally powered; linear motion devices, available in either pneumatic or low pressure hydraulic. EIS slides are available in two, three or four positions. Specifications include 50 to 350 psi, payloads up to 2,600 lbs., and travel up 24".

The WS Series Weld Shuttle is a self-contained two-position or multi-position slide. The WS series was specifically designed for harsh welding environments. The slide mechanism is enclosed in a stainless steel protective shell. WS Series is supported with T-rails so that deflection is near zero even with long travel and offset loads. Multi-position options are available upon request.

Slides are available in customer lengths and can include such options as ported rods, internal self-adjusting shock absorbers, shaft protection, side shield, bellows, proximity switches and etc.

Along with Electro pneumatic slides, EATON HYDRAULICS | Hydro-Line Products also offers the 4PLT-5000 Series Lifter. The 4PLT-5000 Lifter is a four post, dual stroke, concentric cylinder design. All four posts are identical, and are co-ported to operate together thus providing equal lifting forces totaling 5,000 lbs. at 60 psi. Additional design features include a locking mechanism, which automatically prevents the lifter from lowering.
